Our shared hosting is delivered in two flavours, Windows based and FreeBSD (UNIX) based. Customers can migrate between the two platforms as their needs change over time.
Windows Shared Hosting
Our Microsoft Windows based hosting platform is clustered to add reliability and speed. Customers wanting to take advantage of Microsoft's development platform can opt for the Windows Shared Hosting product. Access to your web space is via Frontpage or FTP. Database functionality can be provided by Microsoft SQL Server at additional cost or using Microsoft Access which is included in the price. Features of the Windows Shared Hosting include:

FreeBSD Shared Hosting
The FreeBSD platform is based on enterprise class Dell and HP hardware behind our Cisco hardware firewalls with full Intrusion Prevention Sensor (IPS) protection. FreeBSD is the UNIX variant preferred by the ISP community for its stability and security. Customers who have web sites developed for Linux will find that their sites run quite happily on this platform. The servers are set up with a small (for security) but flexible range of applications and ports which include, Apache, PHP and PHP Extensions, Perl and MySQL.
