Gconnect
Broadband ADSL Home 2048k is an account for the small business who
wants to connect a single PC to a Broadband
connection. Suitable for a wide variety of
applications including web browsing, mail feeds,
VPN and more. |

Hardware
Gconnect supply a range of Broadband modems and
routers which can be purchased separately or as
part of a package. Wires only customers are free
to use existing or third party equipment, but
Gconnect cannot support equipment which is not
provided by ourselves. Browse through the

Contracts
Our contracts for Gconnect Broadband accounts
are just 3 months (rolling contract) giving far
greater flexibility than BT broadband or other
larger corporate contracts. As a smaller
UK ISP
we are able to offer flexible terms and respond
to our customers' needs on a case by case basis,
there is no big company mentality at Gconnect. |

Adding
resilience to ADSL
ADSL , though far cheaper than the equivalent
leased line, in its standard form is not subject
to a service level agreement (SLA). If
connectivity to the internet or a remote network
is mission critical to your business, then some
form of backup connection is needed. ISDN
connections form a viable (although not as high
bandwidth) alternative to ADSL if the line were
to drop, allowing you to keep business going in
times of ADSL service failure. Gconnect can
provide a dial in connection with a dedicated
fixed ip on a pay-as-you-go tariff as an extra
service for your ADSL line. You will need to use
a router capable of switching connections, these
are listed on our
hardware page.
In addition, Gconnect can configure SMTP mail
feeds to cope with the change of IP address in
case of an emergency. |
